ECTE 2025

From September 2025, the package of training for teachers in the first two years of their career, has been renamed. Moving forward, the statutory entitlement will be known as the Early Career Teacher Entitlement.

How to register your ECTs and Mentors for AY2025/26

All schools will be able to register their ECTs and Mentors after 30th June 2025 using the 3 step process below.

      1. Register your ECTs on ECT Manager
      2. Register ECTs on the DfE Portal for the ‘Provider-led’ ECTE offer.
      3. Finally, please complete this expression of interest to confirm your partnership with EDT for 2025/26
