The DfE has announced an update to the Targeted Support and Delivery Fund offer from next academic year to encourage and support teachers and leaders working in small state-funded settings to participate in NPQs.

  • A grant payment of £200 will be made to primary schools (of any size)
  • £200 grant payment will be made to other schools and 16-19 organisations with 1-600 pupils for each teacher they employ who takes an NPQ
  • An additional £600, totaling £800, will be available per participant where the employing organisation is a primary school with 1-150 pupils.
